Courtyard Housing

The Courtyard Housing project is based on the Portland Courtyard Housing Design Competition. It had the same premise and requirements, however, instead of having three months to complete the project; we merely had three weeks. The site of the Courtyard Housing is the Inner Portland Infill Site. My goal with this project was to maximize the amount of private outdoor space for each home. It was important to me that each unit had access to outdoor spaces, as the site is in an inner city - where not many homes have direct access to outdoor spaces.
